Baby Island Lodge is a very private 4,000 sq.ft. single family home built in 2001 by Larry McMaster It is located in a quiet cul d' sac directly in front of Baby Island with the neighborhood access road to the beach running down one side. The property is a double lot and includes tide lands.

I designed Baby Island Lodge to provide a perfect spacial environment for my family to gather and spend memorable time together. This home comfortably sleeps 10 people and is perfect for a large or extended family or small communal group. There are 3 official bedrooms and 3 other rooms suitable for use as bedrooms. There are 4.5 baths and large spaces designed for family activity. The kitchen has a professional gas stove with huge oven and salamander, high countertops for no-back-pain cooking and on-demand hot water for efficiency. I wish I had been able to raise my own children here but am thankful that I was able to host many family gathering over the last few years.

Baby Island Lodge was inspired by "Guyanna Lodge," the original home on this property. The Lodge featuers expansive water views from a large open kitchen and dining area and two other family living spaces, one with a wood-burning fireplace. There is also a large gathering room with a piano alcove looking out to the private garden.

The "garage" has been used exclusively as an art studio and enjoys wonderful light from the large window facing south. It has clean silent in-floor hot water radient heat as does the rest of the house and you are safe from the inconvenience of island power problems with a new back-up generator.

Patios, gardens and hot tub make this a place where living feels like full-time vacationing. The campfire pit and much of the original landscaping was preserved giving this new home a well-established feel. The walls were muralled by Karen Wallach, a nationally known artist now residing in Nevada. Don't miss the link showing many of the murals that make this home such a magical place to live. Rent is $4,000/month, utilities not included.
